Responsive Google+ Badge
May 18th 2016
In this tutorial, I will show you how to make your Google Plus Badge responsive.
The Google+ Badge is not responsive out of the box, it has a predefined width. I used jQuery to enable the responsiveness.
Firstly, we need a wrapper div with one hundred percent width.
This div will help us calculate the size of the badge.
Place the wrapper div where you want your badge to show up:
<div id="google-badge" style="width: 100%"></div>
googlePageId to match the id of your google page.
That's how you make the Google Plus Badge responsive.
I don't use the badge anymore
I decided to remove the badge because it slows down my website (there are too many http requests being made).
I can't optimize the code, so I removed it entirely.
Let me know what you think in the comments section.
